Internship timeline
Your internship journey with Hominum spans 4 exciting weeks. You will be building Framer templates that will be listed on https://www.framer.com/templates/ . Some Hominum examples include ARCH and GRIND. Here's what's you can expect each week:
Teach yourself the basics. Learn how to use Figma, Framer and Rive. Spend at least 8 hours on each doing tutorials and mini projects for yourself. We suggest designing a 1 page website in Figma, building it in Framer and animating buttons in Rive. These tools are free to use. You will be expected to answer questions about these tools in Week 1.
Week 1: Introduction
The first week of your internship will be dedicated to training. You will receive guidance and instruction on the tools and techniques necessary for your role. This includes training on Figma, Framer, and our company's design processes. These lessons are advanced and will require basic understanding of the tools self taught in week 0.
Orientation
Your internship will begin with an orientation session to familiarise you with our company culture, values, and the structure of the organisation. You'll also receive an overview of your role and responsibilities.

At Hominum, we value teamwork, creativity, and integrity. We expect all interns to embrace and embody these values throughout their internship.
Tools and resources

These materials will include step-by-step guides, video tutorials, and sample projects. Feel free to ask questions and seek clarification if you ever need further assistance with any training materials.
Weeks 2-4: Project work
After the training week, you'll be paired with a team of 2-3 talented individuals. Your collective mission will involve collaborating closely to design and develop a diverse array of projects and briefs presented by the Hominum team. It's an opportunity to put your skills to the test and create impactful solutions.
Ideation and brainstorming
In this exhilarating kick-off phase, we'll immerse ourselves in vibrant brainstorming sessions. As a team, we'll embark on an exploration of diverse, imaginative ideas and solutions. Every idea, no matter how wild, finds its place. Start thinking about how to use Rive animation in the design process.
Wireframing and planning
Through meticulous wireframing and comprehensive planning, we’ll develop a roadmap that guides our projects. This phase ensures that our designs align perfectly with project goals.
Design and conceptualisation
This is where dreams become reality. Dive headfirst into the world of design, where every pixel, colour, and element carries significance. Your job? To ensure that these projects not only function seamlessly but also possess a captivating visual charm.

In the final stretch, you'll venture into the realm of no-code development. Here, you'll turn your designs and concepts into tangible, functional solutions. This phase is where your creativity and technical skills merge to create impactful solutions ready to make a real-world difference.
